NYC and me...

Well I am IN LOVE with this city! New York is absolutely fabulous and so full of energy and vibrancy and well-- also a few celebrities!

Here are the few that I spotted:

This is me with the famous Bobbi Brown of Bobbi Brown Cosmetics. We happened to be in Barneys NY and went down to the make-up department (we ARE women) and there was a party going on. They were serving champagne and chocolate covered strawberrys and we found out that we could have a free make-over and then Bobbi came over to say hello and to give her advice on colours etc. She was so cool and so sweet and I love her make-up. I bought a ton.

On Thursday we went to Barney's again for lunch at Fred's. What a great restaurant! We sat at the bar/lunch counter and looked over the restaurant. We had a great view. So who is this in the spy like photo?? None other than the gorgeous Cindy Crawford!! She came in wearing sooo sexy super high heeled shoes (I WANT them) and slim jeans, black tee and huge, huge sun glasses. We think she ate a salad and an omelette. She is super beautiful and elegant.

And the coolest thing happened today. We returned to Fred's at Barney's and were drinking champagne (we do know how to have FUN!) and in walked my idol LARRY KING!! Look where he sat--- really just at the next table! I immediately got up. walked over to him and bent over and quietly told him how much I love his program and how it is my lifeline to the world news since I live abroad and depend on CNN for everything. He said "thank you, that's good to know". He's a real classy guy, and I was thrilled. I sat back down and tried to take his photo without being intrusive. I felt like such a paparazzi.

So far... NYC is fabulous and we are having fun.

I don't need to visit NYC now (which is lucky given the bank balance). Your words and pictures give me all the NYC I thought I could have.

I have been twice to NYS, and never saw any celebs. :(

I lived in NYC two years and I only saw Mariah Carey, Damon Dash, and that fat cop from NYPD Blue...

But then again, I wasn't really looking for celebrities...

Make sure you catch a Broadway show, while you are there.

Sounds like you are having a great time. I have been to NY a couple of times in my life and the only person I saw was Frank L. Wright. Ok, so it was a paper cut out of they guy, but hey it was life size! ehehehehe!

I did meet Cindy Crawford once when I worked in the office of Planet Hollywood in Indianapolis. She came to our grand opening party, along with Bruce Willis (super nice), Luke Perry, and Chirs Farley (months before he died). I have to say the high light was Steven Baldwin. Sad to say that I didn't get to party with anyone. All work and no play...

Keep your eyes open, we want more pics!

Glad to hear you're having a great time! New York is on my "must visit in 2006" list. I'm thinking late summer...

My only problem is I wont recognize celebrities unless they wear a big sign that says "I AM A CELEB!" so I'll just have to enjoy your pictures (and explinations)...

Enjoy!
