I, too was in the mood for a pictoral blog. On occasion the odd sunflower pokes up somewhere in my yard and I don't exactly know where it comes from. The flower blooms nicely, however I have yet to see any seeds. Nonetheless, it's always a brilliant bit of yellow against the copius shades of green that inhabit my space.

Kim - those pics are INCREDIBLE! I love them all but of course this is my absolute favorite flower so I'm a bit biased. But they have brightened my day! :) Came by earlier but my browser wouldn't load!!!

Hello Kim. I stumbled on a blog today: http://tiralba.blogspot.com/
which mentions you, right on the first post.At least I think it's you, I can't imagine there are that many Canadian women bloggers living in Tirana with their husband and small dog.:) I think you may have a fellow blogger as a neighbour. It is an interesting blog overall too. It is a small world indeed.

T1,

you are very good at photos. I was thinking, since you are in Tirana, you could start there making postcards with your photos. Have you seen how bad postcards are there (not all,but most)? Yours would make a difference :)) Selfi

PS: thanks for your lovely comments on "I love Tirana blog".

Haddock... Sunflowers are just so 'in your face' that you can't possibly ignore them!
Lily... that did happen to me on Sat and it was so weird but in a nice way :)
Selfmade Radio... you too take great photos! And thanks for the compliment!
Romerican... I really don't know where seeds come from here but I would guess Italy. I'm getting an order of potted herbs today from Italy and they come over on the ferry.

Everyone... these particular photos were taken when I lived in Romania so they are not recent but I really love them so I thought I'd share them!
