Our new home in Canada has an amazing kitchen with over 400 sq. feet and I love working in it. It's bright, with a huge central window and lots of lighting options. Today I was preparing a yummy Leek and Potato Chowder and I put my laptop on the island counter because I use a recipe from an on-line database. It's so convenient. As I was peeling potatoes my friend in Albania came on MSN and I opened it up to chat with her. We both have mikes and webcams and sometimes they connect really well and sometimes they have a few glitches. Today was semi-good, so I stood at the island chopping vegies and chatting with a really great friend. Suddenly I felt like I was starring in my own cooking show and that made it even more fun!
