For all of you who ever asked "What is that used for?", here is a photo of how I use my bidet. Now Europeans won't have to ask, but most North Americans do. It's a delicate topic, but I've worked up the courage to tell you that a bidet makes a fine receptacle for the water from the condenser dryer! In fact, for me it really is perfect because it is situated right beside the said dryer! Oh, right. North Americans now ask another question: "What is a condenser dryer?" Well you see, here in Euroland clothes dryers do not generally have an exhaust hose vented to the outside. No, they have a basin in the bottom of the machine where the water collects and someone (me) has to remember to empty it or else the silly dryer stops working and then I stand in front of it scratching my head wondering why. But I'm learning.

That's funny. I never really knew the word for the drying method, but I used it for 2.5 years... I actually like that method better! It's just more logical.
it's also a great place for a pedicure, among other things :)
What, you mean you don't wash your feet in there?
We don't have a bidet, but we did have a condenser dryer when we lived in an apartment and I despised the thing because it took hours to dry anything. Now we have a regular dryer and I'm delirious. But any kind of dryer is better than no dryer, eh?
I have a condenser dryer and don't think it works as well as the one I had in the US but I love my bidet and would never give it up.
