Early to Bed... Early to Rise
Jake, my parents baby, sleeping in MY bed!
Well... tomorrow is the big trip to Canada! It sure came fast!
The flight leaves Tirana at 5 AM--- YES 5 AM! Which means I'll be up at 2:30 and out of the house by 3:15. The drive to the airport takes about 15 minutes in the middle of the night, and sometimes more than an hour in the middle of the day. So there's at least one advantage to leaving early. Then there's a 5 hour layover in Vienna- (lovely!) and a six hour time difference with Toronto to deal with. I'll arrive in Toronto at 3:15 in the afternoon and have to run to make the next connection to Halifax- at 4:30 flying backwards 2 hours plus a 1 hour time change. I've done this route before and there's no way I can make the connection because I'll have to retrieve my luggage and go through customs since it's my entry point into Canada. Therefor--- I've decided to not bring any luggage!! Whhheeeeweeeee! I'm traveling light! It might just make all the difference (or it might not). We'll see and I'll be flying with my fingers crossed for luck.
We need new luggage so I'll buy a couple of pieces for the return trip back to Tirana and that way I can fill 'em up with some new 'stuff'.
I'm hoping to keep up the Blog 365 thing over the next 3 weeks, but we'll see how that goes. Whenever I get back home with my sweet parents I get so darn comfortable that I don't want to do email or blog. But who knows? Maybe this time I'll be good.
It's 9:30 and I'm off to bed!
