Peace

" As long as one person commits acts of violence for the sake of peace, you will have war."
Jane Roberts in The Seth Material

Shopping on Boxing Day I overheard the sales staff in one store complaining about having to listen to Christmas music over and over again for more than a month. I, on the other hand, have come to the conclusion that Christmas songs and carols are awesome. Listen carefully to every one and you will see that they are almost all some form of positive afirmation!

"...peace on earth, goodwill to men..."

"Silent night, Holy night, All is calm, All is bright..."

I'm thinking a lot about Peace lately. Is it possible? Can we have it? I believe we can. I truly believe this.

Peace will not descend upon us like a blanket of snow. No. Peace must come from within. It must begin inside each of our hearts. Inside us. And then it will spread. Spread over all humanity, over all the earth. If we want Peace, we must be Peace-full. And the way to have Peace inside us is to understand the Oneness of us all. I am you. You are me. We are One.

Thank God someone still believes in peace. How can we have the internet, make manmade islands, bending the earth to our will, but we have no one who can come up with a middle east solution?

I came from BATW, and I have to say I love your blog. This post is so true, and if only more people thought like this, peace would be attainable.

You are so right, Kim, of course. It begins with me and has the potential of spreading everywhere. If WE don't believe in it, who will??
