Take a Deep Breath

Lilacs

just as nothing can cure the senses but the soul."

They were selling bunches of lilac on street stalls in March in Tbilisi. Something I've never seen before anywhere. Lilac is not something I think of for street stalls and normally it is not out till May. But Tbilisi is early, we already have strawberries. Eat your heart out Wimbledon.

Oh lucky you...the only thing in my garden right now are/were tulips. The squirrels ate all the tops off so now there is nothing, woe is me...ciao

*sniffing at photo* Hmmm. I can almost smell the lilacs.

BTW, just returned from Vienna and we did make it to The Dining Room. What a lovely host, Angelika is(not to mention the great food!) :)

I love lilacs as well! I hadn't seen them since I was a little girl living in the Northeast, US. But here in Germany they are all around me. Lovely, really!
