This mormon's suit is so much better than the ones I see on the mormons wandering in my neighborhood in NYC! At first I thought I was looking at some 'Young Turk" from the kind customarily seen at the Bllok area during morning hours.
Well well... to top it all off I was visiting a non-religious NGO today and just as I was leaving they told me that the Mormons visit them once a week to teach English! Of course I've seen them here in Tirana since I arrived more than 2.5 years ago but this was the first time I've seen them with this sign.
Just be sure to avoid giving them your coordinates or they will be after you for life. Visiting the Temple at Salt Lake City you may always use Liberty Av. nr. 12387, 55th Floor, G, Yerevan, as an address... ;)
Hello, I am a Canadian who just recently moved to Tirana and have been searching for things to do on the internet. What is this womens group you speak about? I am interested.
I appreciate and read all my comments, but I might not have time to comment back all the time. Be sure to leave me your link so I can visit you sometime too!
Ahh I wonder, I saw a huge group of them arriving in Brussels when I picked up a friend there.
ReplyDeleteGood to find you here, I thought you had stopped a while back :)
Kim,
ReplyDeletemormons are doing this since, at least, 12 years
I really like these guys. I admire their sense of courage to go around the world at a very young age and work hard for what they believe in.
ReplyDeleteIf all young men would have half their discipline and dedication the world would be a better place.
/on the other hand, don't ever give them your personal information or they will haunt you forever. :-P

ReplyDeleteHey, thanks for stopping by my blog (yearningforgod.blogspot.com). Internet is amazing--Albania to Texas, USA!
ReplyDeleteit makes me smile.. I was just in salt lake city this week and a guy was telling me about his son going on a mission...
ReplyDeleteonly about 10%-15% of mormons go on a mission and it costs the family 500$ a month to send them for their 24 month mission..
