Building Blocks of Democracy

What fosters liberty and democracy is a stable middle class with the education, time and money to read newspapers and books and magazines, volunteer for local and national leadership positions, volunteer at the local school and to be willing to invest time and money in free education, a well-trained police force, justice in the court system and good government.
